About

Hello, my name is Joanne Castro.

I am currently a Simon Fraser University student who is trying to complete a BA in Health Sciences. I have been blogging since 2003 but have started this blog in 2010.

This blog is all about my volunteering jobs I come across throughout the year. I am mostly interested in gaining experience in different public health initiatives. My main focus in volunteering is for SFU Club for the Cure in which I’m currently the President.

If you would like to view my resumé, please click here.  I have it in both .docx and PDF formats.

If you would like to reach me, you can email me at joanne dot castro at gmail dot com.

  2. Hey Joanne! Yay for your new WordPress blog! 🙂

  3. Hi Joanne! I just realized that we share the same name hehehe. I’m currently a 2nd year pharmacy student at UBC and will sometimes come across volunteer positions that’s not just limited to my classmates and I. Do you think you’d be interested to know about those if anything come up on my end?

  4. Hi Joanne (LOL!) Please do let me know about other volunteer positions! I would love to post it on my blog and, of course, be part of the event as well.

2nd year pharmacy? Wow! I know a couple of first year pharmacy students. =) Hope exams went great for you!
